Poetic Purpose

When silence works why to toil words and ink spoil
Between lines and beyond meaning, hearty communications
Employing words to make a sense; selfish senses turmoil

Bridegroom has gone and damsels felt short of oil
Omitting and deleting, truth hidden, stricken intention
When silence works why to toil words and ink spoil

Stealing the stillness and wrapping in poetic foil
Reader writer’s not blood but word relations of passion
Employing words to make a sense; selfish senses turmoil

Blessed moments’ eggs hatching beneath time waste is haste to boil
Reader, betrayed by old concept fluffy words candy floss reflection
When silence works why to toil words and ink spoil

Stirred emotions and winning wit tears of crocodile
Caught in worldwide web experience relieved by anticipation
Employing words to make a sense; selfish senses turmoil

Return inwards and pass the bliss for a while
Poetry is not an art but different lives’ momentary connection
When silence works why to toil words and ink spoil
Employing words to make a sense; selfish senses turmoil

Boy, Neelam, this is a very deep poem with images and feelings summoned that I found very complex with several reads necessary. I feel like I might have gone down a layer or two with several left to probe. Impressive.
