Poetic License By Franklin Price 4/1/2015 I have poetic license To write about all things Beautiful or ugly Sane or ding-a-ling Family and friends And what I've seen around Politics Religion All existing sky and ground I tell it as I see it Report it as my news To be accepted or rejected While expressing my own views I'm not afraid to tell it If it's something I believe And send it out to others To read and to receive Not everyone will like it I never thought they would But if it gets them thinking And reacting that is good Not all writing gloom and doom Write some of love and grace Sometimes a little humor To leave a smile on the reader's face
