POETIC HIDDEN VALLEY

Nature’s silent rhythm carries us
From the mean merchant’s mind
And the foul polluted air of the city
To a deep hidden valley of beauty
Cut into the earth’s crust
Into a veiled valley of virtue
Of invisible world spirits.
Where souls are re-planted
In the open cut of this wound
And growth again is divinely granted
In the moist and light filled sacred ground
