Poetic Battle
enemy holding inspiration hostage
come on, pathetic writer’s block
put up your dukes and fight
with my army I’ll gain advantage
so hit me with all your might
I’ve joined forces with pen and page
you’re goin’ down writer’s block!
heart and soul are backing me
now submit to my poetic rage
and release my creativity
you should surrender now
oh, foolish writer’s block
for I’m a feisty poet
I’ll vanquish you somehow
before you even know it
go cry to your mommy
wimpy writer’s block
before I slice and dice you
then cook you up creatively
you best believe this poem’s true!
