Poetess of the Day-Thank You

Sunday, I was fearful that my house and city would be burnt to the ground.
By rioters, so I posted in a poem for prayers, from friends all around.

A fellow poetess did the most magical thing.
She wrote me the prayer she did say, it made my heart ring!


In all these decades on-line, this never happened before.
You know I gave her a shout out as I opened the deck door.

Her name to me will forever be angelic!
One who loves Jesus, far more than simply symbolic!

So dear friend~ a first place trophy is shining there in heaven for you!
You are my POTD, my very-loving, Poetess of the day, with heart that
shimmers red , white and blue!

Today, grandson told me today there were eight National Guard trucks parked 5 blocks from here. I am glad they were so close. I know others were praying for the safety of our town.
