Poems Descended

From a far-off galaxy my poems descended
To amaze you, to comfort you!
In my poetry you were the limitless spectrum of love,
To unwrap you from the lotus leaf
I burnt an incense for you!
I waited and cuddled the warmth of the fireplace
In a frosty winter night for you!
In the sea of my bereft pain
Like high waves you dashed on
The shore of my passion,
You delved in like a deluge to purge
My mistaken conscience while I
Scoured you in many desert hot noons,
In the cold of an arctic winter,
At the curve of a flowing river!
