Paint me..
a picture of disaster
of Self pity
of little worth
of meaninglessness
on a cornflower blue background
and red brush strokes
signify me..
put me on canvas
on display
for all to see and
criticize
because even
free wine and
hors d’oeuvres
will never be
enough
this grand
opening
isn’t for them
or even
for you
it
is
for
Me
