Poem For Spring
Marvelous scenes outside my window:
How nature manifests itself
right up through the middle of a
crack in the pavement.
Tulip,
Hyacinth,
Daffodil
in groups scattered everywhere:
a garden party.
Tumultuous multitudes of
sensuous people out walking and tossing
their hair through neighborhoods.
The still lingering sun
is just enough to raise my hope
and I smile at the wonderful
parade outside my window.
