Podunkistan Builds Its Military

Podunkistan Builds Its Military By Elton Camp The country is far too poor, of course To raise and support a military force Its dictator is determined to have his way “Do it anyway you can,” is what he’ll say It’s a poorly trained army that they equip So on their enemies they are able to slip Hapless soldier will think he’s been had But the generals will only say, “Too bad.” Perhaps with such hardship a man to saddle He says, “Without Indians chiefs can’t battle.” And if all the others would simply do the same So then, “They gave a war, but nobody came.”
