Plight of Every Reader

He met her everyday- Lost himself in her giggles, Smiled whenever she bit her lips, And frowned when she talked in her sleep. He never lived a day without her- But he could never hear her voice, Even though he talked to her In his dreams. He always wondered about- The way she would tuck Locks of hair behind her ear And play with his fingers! She met him everyday too- Staring at her from the mirror, Watching out for each blush That comes on remembering him. She never forgot him, Wondering how he will react to this And maybe frown at that. She keeps looking deep into his eyes Oh that scar on his face Makes her go crazy for him. And his eyes spoke fairy tales Which turned her an insomniac! Far they were, In worlds that never met. In worlds that could never meet. Yet they met their respective partners Everyday in dreams and in reality. Hoping to meet someone like them They spend their lives waiting. Inseparable parts of life, Yet so indescribable- For which emotions were insufficient! Such is the plight of the readers, Who fall in love with the fictional characters!!!
