Pleasure In My Pain

Too much pleasure in my pain,
I've been scared for so long.
On top then on the bottom,
Same ol' dance and song.
Was I ever really wrong?
Or have you understood me all along?

I've cried red tears,
On the cold snowy days,
I can't expect much more,
Hearing every word that you say.
I anticipate my betray,
While my bones start to decay.

Too much pleasure in my pain,
Too much gray in my white,
Circling over the mountains,
My fear is skin tight,
Is my conflict even right?
You do me wrong, I'll requite.

In the end I hope I've lived,
My life so full of rainbows,
If I had to pick two colors,
It would be cerulean and indigo,
I've felt the uneasy vertigo,
I hope I don't end up in Jericho.

Even if I never see you again,
Covering myself full of hope,
With my new homemade calico.
