Please Write
I take my life each time it’s quiet
No words there, for to read
So with this knife, self inflicted
I cut so deep, I bleed
Set forth your words, please do write
Empower me with thought
My life, then saved upon this night
As your meaning then is caught
So breathe in me the breath of life
To color my world with hue
Provide me with your words this night
Speak softly, as you do
I will take your words so very deep
In meaning then, they’re mine to keep
