Please Won'T You Come With Me
I'm looking for my home
I've walked a million miles,
I've lost a thousand loves
and cried a hundred smile.
Please won't you come with me
I will kiss your face,
we can find our love somewhere
we can find the place.
Don't you remember me
I'm the one who's bad,
for taking what you gave me
for what I never had.
Please won't you come with me
I will hold your hand,
we can see the road together
we can see the land.
A heavy rain is falling
it's not too far behind,
like some friends I used to know
the rain is never kind.
Please won't you come with me
I will kiss your tears,
we can share our hopes together
we can share our fears.
