-Please Tell Her

If you see her before l do
Can you please tell her from me
That l am doing well
So do not worry ….I am happy

I know she worried about leaving me
As l did about letting her go
We talked so much of matters of the heart
She knew my heart completely l know

Please tell her it took me many years
To adjust to life without her here
The one l love still stands by my side
Lovingly wiping away my tears

Please tell her we three are all happy and healthy
Her grandson is a kind hearted, loving man
He is confident and has inner peace
Is in love now with a lovely girl from Scotland

So, if you see her before l do

Please tell her my memories of her
Keep her alive within me
Please tell her how much l miss her here
I love her eternally…..

So heartfelt and exuding pure love for the one who watches over from heaven as only a mother can. Solemn voice to your words of gratitude and longing, Deb. A special bond!

Another lovely poem, Deb I think you and your Mum have an extraordinary bond that can't be broken, and wherever you are, that still applies. Take care, Shirley XX

Beautifully crafted my friend. Looking back, it seems I never said enough to my mother while she lived. Thanks for this one.
