Please Liberate Me Hymn
"Jesus, Thou art all compassion,
Pure unbounded love Thou art;
Visit us with Thy salvation,
Enter every trembling heart."
Taken from : Love Divine, All Loves Excelling by Charles Wesley, pub.1747
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tired of trials, tribulations tensions and tear,
I know salvation can end it all,
yearning for emancipation I hold dear,
Oh lord! Show some mercy, please liberate me.
Desirous of dissolving in divine,
I want to savour ultimate bliss,
that is the only thing I pine,
Oh lord! Show some mercy, please liberate me.
Suffering for sins silently and still,
give me sorrows for they dissolve sins,
through miseries many all my sins you kill,
Oh lord! Show some mercy, please liberate me.
Benevolent lord bestow blissful being,
for it brings eternal boundless joy,
from the cycle of birth and death help me in fleeing,
Oh lord! Show some mercy, please liberate me.
