Please Hold My Hand

I’m very small I don’t know much at all But I’m here to explore And I want to learn more Please hold my hand We run up the hill Then back down again too We roll with the hounds Doing somersaults on the ground Please hold my hand We’re skating around In the circles we found I want to know you And you like me too Please hold my hand I learned about you But it wasn’t in school You came to my heart We’d never be apart Please hold my hand You carry my books I see all your looks I think you’re cute Yo don’t be so mute Please hold my hand I’m all dressed in white I feel high as a kite In your eyes I now see How my future will be Please hold my hand You did your best But now you need rest You go home before me It’s just what will be Please hold my hand I’m drowning in sorrow I’ve lost my tomorrows My friend you’re the best Help me clean up my mess Please hold my hand I meet you online I think you’re so nice I see you smile I laugh again like a child Please hold my hand I finished my book And put a song out that hooked Now you hold me tight All through the cold nights Please hold my hand You’re still there like you said There’s nothing to dread You beckon me come My work here is done Please hold my hand
