Please Don'T Shout

Please don't shout I'm not deaf I can HEAR you that's for sure I beg you to stop shouting Shouting I abhor You treat me like an imbecile When others are so kind I can walk, talk, and think And have a sound mind If you opened up your EYES You may notice I AM BLIND!

We often shout at the blind to attract their attention.Normally we don't have to attracted sighted peoples attention because they can see we are going to speak to them.Shouting is a sensible reaction.

I understand your comment. Blind people often have a heightened sense of hearing to compensate for their disability. Sometimes, like sighted people, there is a need to shout if that person or persons are in immediate danger. This is only a personal point of view. Thank you for yours. Best Wishes... Shirley
