Please be mine or nobody,
your years won't be wasted
for loving me and having faith in me;
I have kissed you before anybody would...
please be mine or nobody.

I didn't find anybody who had
that charming look I can trust,
no woman's smile has ever had
that sensational power
to charm me sooner 
than I ever thought.

Please be mine or nobody,
other women never gave me more;
I wouldn't face life alone
without having you near.
Please be mine or nobody,
making a promise is more than fair.

If before everybody ignored me,
I didn't show much interest
as I have in you and it's more than that;
surround me with your sweetness,
and it'll be easy to escape aloneness...
holding hands will draw you closer to me.
