Pleading For Your Very Life

Abraham pleaded with God for Sodom's salvation
Lot prayed for his very life with the cancellaton of
                                              Tzohar's elimination *

Lot's prayers were accepted, the righteous Avrahams were rejected
At first glance astonishing, until more closely inspected

Abraham's concern was that justice be done
So, while God refused to save the city, Avraham felt he'd won

Lot prayed for his very life, along with the rescue of Tzohar
If G-d rejected his prayers, he could go nowhere

His back to the wall, Lot cried out to God from sheer fright
Who listened and saved Lot from his personal plight

*Tzohar was a small town near Sodom where Lot sought refuge.
According to Rabbi Nachmanides, however, God had also
scheduled it for elimination (along with Sodom and Gomorrah).

I think it will take chutzpah, guts and courage for humanity to survive all of the present which is verboten to write about,. Joan of Arc was burnt ar the stake. 10 million in the Shoah. No Mosiach showed up! The IDF soldier does not plead to HaShem For his life. He puts his life on the line. We? Won’t even write about it, won’t March for it ….what are we? We let evil win. Shabbat Shalom

Verboten in America? Then find someplace that respects free speech. Why not! Marchers get beaten writers, muzzled, threatened ... Wilkommen zum. USSR. 2023 morphed into the Anschluss. Pray for courage and light. We can do it. Sleep well. Pangagiota

Talk about lives on the line: In America even that's been reduced to political virtue-posing and finger-pointing. ~ Proud father of IDF soldier. The IDF's soldiers and army -- the best of the best. ~ Dad
