Playlist Poetry

Sometimes "I wish it would rain down"
because "I love a rainy night"
and wake to find the earth is cleansed
in the emerging daylight.

Have you really listened to the "rhythm of the rain"?
It can actually feel soothing to the weary brain.
Listen close - you'll hear music with a constant refrain;
hearken to the "banjo wind" and the "mandolin rain".

Yes, I have been "caught out in the rain",
but then so has everyone I know!
There'll be times when "a hard rain's a-gonna fall"
but I'd rather that than a big dump of snow!
