Playground
I run and jump and skip around
Go flying up into the air
Landing back on solid ground
I’m completely without care
I feel the breeze caress my face
As I quickly jog along
Down narrow leafy country lanes
Listening to the wild birds song
I swim in river dammed with stones
To form a deep dark pool
Watch lazily from half closed eyes
As I lay on the grass to cool
Yet I have not even left my chair
Because in fact I’m blind
All of this has taken place
In the playground in my mind
