Play the Game

Some things are more important than others,
I suffer even as others suffer.

It takes time to realize,
Wisdom was not reserved for the wise.

Mistakes are the useful guides,
Guileless at last, I let go of my pride.

They are a part of me as I am a part of it all…
I play my part, I stand tall.

There is nothing to lose, glory or fame,
Play the game, Skipper, Nothing stays the same.

life is this game that some don't have the rules. Some do have their rules and others make it up for self.
