Make it one of love
Make the notes high
Make them soar like doves

Make it break my heart
With it’s sweet melody
Make it tare me apart

That’ll have me in tears
By the time it’s over with
I will live out my fears

That’ll lull me to sleep
Just like those fake promises
You promise you’ll keep
Play me a song
That says you’ll never leave
Make the keys sing
So I can’t tell you deceive
Play me a song
Play me a beautiful lie
Make it convincing enough
So I won’t have to say goodbye
