Planted

I’ve planted all my seeds
I’ve cried my last year

Watered my soul
Caffeinated my faith

Prayed for my prayers
Tipped my new therapist

The only game now is waiting
I pray my waiting is humbly

Next week maybe the time it all comes
But I’ve learned to throw away my watch

Most of life is waiting and planting
There is an irony with harvesting

That being each harvest begins new plots
Those plants again need planting and waiting
