Why do you steal words from me?
When all I want is to be
Someone who feels free
To reflect what my soul sees!!

A 7 rating for this short but expressive poem, Miss Sassy! I can well relate to your words since I am one of those who has been robbed of his words! Take care. // paul

Plagiarism is rampant in the poetry. Many of my words have been stolen. Take it as a compliment.

Yes, that seems to be the common response. I'd rather have the thief post a comment showing they have the integrity to appreciate someone else's creativity. A phrase here or there is easier to understand but an entire poem, posted verbatim and then put their own name as the author is more than dishonest. Truly is sad reflection on that person's character. The positive side is that the betrayal will spawn a whole lot more poems ... this one just popped out as I was reading about the thefts. Take care Tim. Love your poem about the farmer's market.

"To reflect what my soul sees!!" EXACTLY, the poets shares his/her soul and some lowlife scum steals that "gift" to pretend that they shared it with the world at large. Far too many such vermin in the world in my opinion. Enjoyed your light shining poem my friend. A7
