Place
Sometimes other peoples mistakes,
Weight more then those of our own
It’s ironic, to know all that it takes
To find the courage to stand up alone
Wherever you look, there’s no one home
And you doubt someone will remember
If they ever talked to you on the phone
Your name and laugh, won’t last forever
You will vanish at the end of December
New year, new people, new memories
And you don’t get younger, but older
This life is just what you see it seems
It goes on and someday you’ll be replaced
Make it so, that no one can take your place
