Pittencrieff Park
Really love travelling across Scotland
from here in the west across to the east
Dunfermline my fav place over in Fife
just being there you don't want to cease
Pittencrieff Park I really love it
so full of grass taking many a route
uphill and down breathe in cool air
many tree types bear seed from root
It's famous son purchased it 1902
then gave it back to his home town
Andrew Carnegie world billionaire
left with little to U.S. to gain crown
So much wildlife around to feast upon
grey squirrels, many birds among woodland
lovely brook runs throughout the ground
water trickling over stones so grand
So that's something of my favorite place
bringing one a sense of it's worth
fun and peace for all the family
memories to kindle one all from birth
(Just some thoughts on my favorite park in Scotland to go and walk to enjoy its nature.
The Andrew Carnegie statue in the park for he bought the park for the people of his home town Dunfermline.)
