Pirate Ship Purgatory

Deeply incarcerated in the sands of time Your life changes with the flip of a dime Stuck in purgatory without your guide Broken and shattered stuck in my pride Smiles cast away the thoughts that boil inside Your so far away --- who will I confide? Outraged and irate I take a few steps back Gagged and suffering in this Dunlap sack Strangled inside my speechless voice Stuck in purgatory because of a choice Lost and chained to the walls I stay I close my eyes and begin to pray To the Gods and Heavens above Shower me with all your love! My life crumbles in stacks by my feet Holding a surrender flag and admitting defeat Struggling to keep your blue eyes in view Struggling to survive without you Body growing feeble --- my strength is gone Fighting and battling for far too long Found you at last and slipping through my fingertips Secretly sinking my pirate ship Holding you close my imagination flies I look up in the rain to the thundering skies Tears begin to fall blistering my cheeks For you I already seek Swallowing my fears to look far and wide Hurting and bleeding from deep, deep, inside Kissing your lips I struggle for one last taste Smoking a drug --- I already aced Hieroglyphics cloud my frightened brain Being without you makes me insane
