Piping In the Aurora

In the skies over Inverness is light-play on an annual quest and pipers in kilts come to play along with the aurora’s lovely song. Moonbeams shy in aurora’s light give way to flowing waves so bright. Cosmic charged particles from the sun are sure to leave no coloring undone. Echoes of piped tunes will dance while colors in sky do entrance; as high above the highland lakes the sky performs a waltz of grace.

Exquisite verses and truly an image feast too. All verses gold but this stanza to me stands out- "" Moonbeams shy in aurora’s light give way to flowing waves so bright. Cosmic charged particles from the sun are sure to leave no coloring undone.""\ A fav-- God bless..

This is so beautiful, MLK--as the highlands are. We saw the awesome wonders of nature when we visited Inverness. You took me there one more time with this beauty.

Love those skies waltzing, but I presume they shed their kilts first. ~ First time visitor to Inverness

M.L., your poem is enchanting. For a moment it took me to the Scottish highland lakes. Exquisite writing, IMHO.
