Pink Praying Mantis

Have you met pink praying mantis faerie yet asked my house guest.
He was on my last nerve as apes are often, kind of a tolerated pest.
I was surprised, for I had not even heard of such an unknown creature.
She is distorted, elongated, and she has more than one unusual feature.
We crept on our knees through the grasses, but the ape made lots of sound.
She took off with both feet as we got closer and spun in the air round and round.
See what I said? The ape said, she is a weird one, isn’t that right?
I was hoping this unwelcome house guest would take off tonight.
