Pining For Playground

They fall, and get hurt, and again race right after, Life's full of home-made cookies and laughter, They absolutely adore every season They promise by pinkie and lie for no reason, They learn by osmosis, that is asking Why, They dare to count every star in the sky, They aren’t tormented by guilt or by doubt. When they get sad, they can cry it out loud. Playground in the park is the best place on earth Where Past, Present, Future are equally worth... "Life's is a stage and a man is an actor" What happens to careless innocent laughter?! The best season is on a tropical island, Tears still shed, are not wet but are silent, We still learn indeed but from our mistakes, Love's two-way street where one gives and one takes. Wounds, self-inflicted from emotional pain, Success rate is measured by things that we gain, We merely pass by the playground in the park, The birthplace of innocent, curious spark.

L like to go back and read a poet's first post. Obviously, you had the gift right out of the gate. This is a marvelous poem, especially describing the children in the first staza. Proficient penning here, Margarita.

You have captured the innocence of the way children enjoy life in this wonderful first post. I am enjoying reading your work today and I’m happy that Poetry soup lead me to meet you. Blessings Connie
