Pinecone Mold Creature

Pinecone mold creatures in the forest lurk
Dropped by elves and faerie on an autumn day
Collecting them should be difficult work
There is an underlying mist so light and gray

From this enjoyable task I do not shirk.
Lightly tiptoeing through the leaves today
Mushroom hunting is my happiest quirk.
Boots step gingerly careful of the fey

Right. If you're not careful, they might toss you a few that are not edible.
