Howard, it's been a while since I wrote this one and I had to think a minute about it myself. Your kind review is encouraging. Sara K

Nice one. We will be having a grand time in Johannesburg. I lived there for ten years and my wife grew up there. Will be sitting two houses, grand villas with luxury plus. Kind wishes, Kind wishes, Kai

A plague of pine needles, says my wife, sweeping up. Another of Nature’s lush colourful occasional carpets to be enjoyed in the moment. Amber coloured trickle ? Yes, lovely. Thank you.

Peter, Yes, they can be work. Robert Frost wrote a poem about leaves being a crop. I always liked that one. Thank you for your visit and taking time to comment. Sara

Phyllis, Yes, those pine cones can be a problem. Of course, one can use them for decorations, add them to the fire as a starter, etc. Thanks for the visit. Sara

In the thinking process. Some people don’t realize that Pineneedles carry a lot of turpentine and kill the grass underneath them. Hugs eve

Eve, I guess that is one reason we here in the south use them to go around our flower beds and shrubs to as a mulch and as a weed barrier. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
