Pilot's Autobiography

Pilot's Autobiography The world is ruled by those who can fly More and more people live up the sky. I appreciate why rooftops are painted- On the maiden flight I could have fainted! There's traffic and movement in the air, You must trust guts to avoid losing hair! I did my time with wind and flying gods Not time in frolic or fickle of the toads! I read and wrote love letters as I flew Cockpit was mine; home in which I grew. I crossed every Sea, Mountains in snow Not least deserts where hot winds blow. Supersonic Thing crossed every town Stipples pointed up like finger of a clown. Wasteland and all, I did zoom past Appreciating Nature beautiful and vast. But, most of all, whenever I flew so high I knew and felt that Almighty was nigh! 17th Sept' 2013
