Pier Fishing

Oceans breathe calm
rafts of jellyfish
breeze on paper lanterns

Piles creak under
wave's rise, blue arch weight
stick ,slow slaps, picket fence

Bowed rod reveals
tug of sea's intent
empty pail sits on pier

rd, "empty pail sits on pier" speaks volumes. But keep your eye on the "bowed rod." Hopefully the catch of the day will be yours. Carolyn
