Pieces To the Puzzle

I'm the only one that could handle this situation with such grace yet I still take the blame
Made it through the whole winter with no roof but still hold my head up with no shame
Said I was a dog and kept me on a leash thought i was all bark and no bite but still got a muzzle
Didn't expect me to be so confusing didn't know where to fit in but found the pieces to my puzzle
