Piece of My Past
walking along the beach today,
i saw you,
you looked at me, then slowly
walked away,
you had told me that you were
different from the last,
but you turned out to be
just a piece of my past,
you really know how to make
me hurt,
was it love? 'cause im no expert,
i thought it was, at the time,
but now lookin back,
you were never mine.
