I am a friend of pie Why? Because I would never eat it. It will live its natural life cycle Until it's dry Then goes all rancid And can die. And that's why I Am a friend of pie.

You will never eat pie? What? Have you tried it since you became a grown up? I did not like it as a child as much as I do now, but I love it now! I am hoping this is a joke not the truth. Lovely poem regardless.

Everyone wants their pie to taste like a slab of sugar. Way too sweet for me. An apple or berry pie that has zero sugar added, that is good, but rare.
