Pictures and Their True Words

They say that a picture is worth
a thousand words...

Multi colors floated by the
first time that my actions
spoke louder than words
I was in a world of my own
where nothing existed but you

day and night,
24/7, I could
only think of you
I used to count
the seconds off
before I could see
you again

But as time flew by...
the multi colors changed
to dull ones and my actions
said that they will withdraw
themselves due to the
fact that the word 'I'
and 'you ',
no longer seem to
be mentioned in one
sentence without
brining the conscience
'but' in it.

You no longer
were apart of
my day and night
and my 24/7 became history
and as for the seconds...
I am not counting anymore

All I want in this case
is your words instead of
a picture for
I need those thousand words
to paint a new picture of hope
about us.

"To paint a new picture of hope about us" - ah, this is a heartfelt missive that speaks as well as a poem can.
