Picking the Wrong Fight
I believe you believed you had the most to offer
better looking bigger brain value in the coffers
based on intellect getting all that it wants to
lying manipulation didn’t disappoint you
making you lazy, weak and weed saw you detached
imagination working wonders when you’re sat there mashed
Ideas say you’re capable with more doe to splash
with friends so immature also lacking cash
think behaving serious will outdo young and dumb
blind to ideas seriousness isn’t any fun
unattractive making you a one to shun
not the first choice caused you to throw tantrums
to proceed your petty way of lying as you do
to change the view of competition that has bettered you
now know who is better from not having a clue
seeking truth to delusions recently thought true
but with a personality lacking a sense of humour
lies had to be harsh and horrid to rearrange the order
bringing out a side that couldn’t hide away the slaughter
of seeing friends as rivals to keep down when they falter
what they had never done not once at anytime
after calling on them to soothe your heart and mind
forgetting confusion felt needing someone kind
never treated you the best way you could find
you seemed to think treating them bad could be done and blagged
gaslighting their simple mind in ways you thought you had
manipulating them into doing all they have
conning them safely away from being mad
thinking they were yours who are easily tricked
speaking words of wisdom their ideas have clicked
will do as you wish them too there’ll be no conflict
belief shouldn’t belong in ideas they are thick
all this time you couldn’t see their plan to play along
waiting for this day where they would prove you wrong
when expectations shattered would be gone
the thing you believed impossible is their bomb
never coming back you can’t have it end like that
things coming out their trap exposing how you act
secret chatting the unknown common fact
out of control until you coerce them back
but everything that’s always worked before
isn’t influential shocking to the core
messing with who knows you best after feeling sure
you knew them but then they showed who knows more
couldn’t see manipulation when it was coming through
unaware they played you forcing them too
always met your demands as if they had no clue
to leave you this dishonest loner nobody but you
believing what was make believe
not backed up by reality
the better option but girls disagree
the last friend lost was me
