Phototropism
I.
The grave is the adolescent goal,
Death’s the teenage cult,
Byronic, the melodramatic role,
With suicide, oft the result.
II.
Transcending malaise is the urgent task,
Evading those marble tombs;
Your soul in Sonlight beams must bask,
Defying Death’s crypt-like gloom.
