Phases of the Moon

Like the moon, rise be new, be shy,
Stand me up on our first date,
Defend against my advances.

Like the moon, rise, grow, make me wonder;
Get me trembling,
Me think your body is the crown jewel.
What will you show me next?

Bare it all,
Let your light be great for the dark,
When the sun is gone,
Hide behind a dark cloud,
Are you gone?
Shy again babe, go be gone.
Rise, be new,
Where have you been?
Like the moon, make me know,
Your love shies, hides, rises,
Your love never dies.
