Phase of a Dandelion
Dandelions can be seen
Invading Lawns that are green
They spoil a nice lawn
One you've cultivated all along
Potherbs some do believe
As tasty as one can conceive
A drink concocted this flower makes
Without the use of any grapes
A drink of pagan Gods, claims are made
From this yellow flower wine is made
They burst into lovely flowers
Some think they have medicinal powers
When dandelions begin to fade
Offspring of white are displayed
Blow upon a seeded flower
Your wish may come true within the hour
Off they go carried by the wind
floating in the breeze until they descend
New, the seeds then begin
Regenerating a new dandelion again
