Phase 4 -The Glow Up

Anger , hurt , tears are but a few
Of the stages you process too
Before you can let phase 4 break through
See confidence is a stain they can’t wipe away
Even if it got lost some days
Phase 4= do what and with who I wanna do
Phase 4 = my peace is no longer found with you
Phase 4= it’s all about me
Phase 4= I can be whoever I choose to be
Phase 4 = I make no apologies for how I choose to act
Phase 4= I no longer apologise for its impact
Phase 4= I know who I am and what I deserve
Phase 4= I fully see my worth
And oh what a journey it was to get to where I now stand
And guess what I didn’t need anyone to hold my hand
Turns out there is nothing I can’t withstand
The crown may slip but it will never fall
My throne awaits and the people call
Because this queen can and always will
There’s no time for standing still
Phase 4 is now well underway
And I don’t care anymore what anyone has to say
Because it’s my life and I’ll do it my way
