Pete Wanted to Be a Pirate
Pete wanted to be a pirate since he was a duckling small
He knew if he could get to a clipper ship, he would have a ball.
We did not raise a pirate, his Daddy told him, so do something else, son.
But Pete did not want to do anything else, pirating looked like so much fun!
