Petals of the Night

Such is the beauty of spring,
Filling our eyes with pleasure and
The bounty of fruit the flowers bring.

The silver glow of diamond stars
Begets the beauty of the buds
which softly beckon 'hear we are'.

The newborn nightness doth surround
The pastel pink of cherry blossoms
And a gentle breeze guides petals to the ground.

Hello Ray, it was nice receiving a comment from your pen. :-).... About your poem: I wish to see this image after the morning sun. Spring can bring beauty from one night to the other. In passion, the ground endures in a kiss upon Earth. lovely~LINDA

A lovely way to do petals in the wind, Ray! I didn't see a poem like you just described to me. Was it posted here? Anyway, I sure am ready for spring. your weather sounds awesome.
