Petals 6-11-00

He loves me
                                                         He loves me not
                                                         I pull a daisy
                                                        But the petals stop
                                                        They fall to the floor
                                                        And lie in a heap.
                                                        My fears are true
                                                        That’s why I weep.
                                                         He loves her
                                                         No longer me
                                                         Tears mixed with the tears
And I drown in the sea.
