Pessimists and Optimists

If pessimists you need to find
They are passing through
If they push you, never mind
They're busier than you
Bending over their phone
Chatting with a friend
They end up sleeping alone
With the phone in hand
I don’t have their modern tools
For I’m an optimist
My glass is usually half-full
And I can’t resist
Playing loud some chosen stuff
That uplifts my soul
Getting lil’ more than enough
Of my rock n' roll.
