Perspective

The ground is moving faster
I can’t ever seem to catch up
To where I was

Clock beeps at light, at dark
I won’t wake up
Back here

Rapid-fire tasks add up and
I will never measure up
Why try?

If there was a grand design
Mountains and the oceans sum it up
And we'll all die
