Perspective

When life doesn’t go
The way that you planned,
Is it a blessing or a curse?

When you’re a few cards short
Of a winning hand,
Are you better off, or worse?

When you’re losing the game
Of fortune and fame,
And don’t have a dime in savings,

Just know that some guy
In a nice suit and tie
Is crying in his Mercedes.
